90th Foster Camp/EKU Alumni Celebration Event

Celebrate 90 Years of Foster Music Camp!

Join us for a special Alumni Celebration Event as we honor nine decades of musical excellence at Foster Music Camp! This milestone event will feature an Alumni Band, conducted by former campers, an Alumni Chorus performing alongside our camper choir—including a world premiere work by Dr. Richard Waters—and an Alumni Orchestra playing alongside our current campers.

To conclude this unforgettable celebration, all groups will come together for our Grand Finale, continuing our 90-year tradition (until stage capacity is reached).

We can’t wait to reunite with past campers and celebrate the rich history of Foster Music Camp with music, memories, and camaraderie!

• Any Foster Music Camper Alumni (must be out of high school/have graduated)
• Any EKU Music Alumni 
• Any Friends of Foster (donors, supporters, teachers, etc...)

This event is free for everyone, but many alumni have inquired about ways to give back and support Foster Music Camp. If you’d like to contribute, donations of any amount are greatly appreciated and will directly support student scholarships and camp programs. Donations can be made online anytime via credit/debit card or PayPal at Foster Camp Donation Link. All contributions are processed through the EKU Foundation and go directly into our camp account. Thank you for helping us inspire and support the next generation of musicians! 

While the schedule may be subject to slight adjustments based on enrollment and facility availability, here’s the overall plan for this exciting weekend

📍 EKU Center for the Arts

• 5:30 – 7:00 PM | Alumni Reception, Registration, 90 Year Historical Exhibit
• 7:00 – 9:30 PM | Alumni Rehearsals

• 8:30 AM | Alumni Breakfast
• 9:30 AM | Grand Finale Rehearsal with Campers
• 10:30 AM | Guided Campus Tour (led by EKU Ambassadors & Alumni Association)
• 12:00 PM | Lunch (on your own)
• 1:00 PM | Concert Prep (concert black attire if possible)
• 2:00 PM | Alumni Celebration Concert Begins 🎶

🎤 Performance Lineup:

• FMC Choir with Alumni, featuring select pieces and a world premiere work by Dr. Richard Waters
• FMC Orchestra with Alumni performing alongside campers
• FMC Alumni Band, comprised of past alumni performers and conductors
• FMC Camper Band
• Grand Finale – Open for all alumni to join until stage capacity is reached. Once full, additional participants are welcome to sing in the choir, just like in past camps!
