Due to COVID-19 our traditional Foster Music Camp had to be cancelled. In lieu of our usual full-scale June camp, we still want to offer a special high school string chamber music camp for students. Our chamber music camp will be an enriching week for students grades 9-12 that will serve to broaden young students understanding of chamber music and help them refine specific skills on their instrument. Learning and performing chamber music during this week will provide opportunity for students to engage in team-work, develop leadership and multi-tasking skills, and allow for personalized teacher to student instruction.
The Foster Music Camp String Chamber Music Camp will take place August 3rd-7th, 2020 at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, KY. Classes, rehearsals, and performances will be held in the Foster Music Building.
